With Hull, you can now directly ping your salespeople inside Salesforce by pushing events captured inside Hull as Tasks. They will be attached to the Contact or Lead timeline inside Salesforce. So you can simply push
sign-up events tracked via Segment or Hull.js into a Task that the sales will work on.
1. Track sign-up events using Hull.js or Segment
Our own tracking system named Hull.js will allow you to track events on your website. If you use Segment as a tracking tool, you can install our Segment connector as well. Both ways you can connect to Hull to retrieve sign-up events
2. Set-up your Salesforce connector to push these events as Tasks
In the section called
Events - Sending Events as Tasks to Salesforce, you can map the events from Hull to a Task in Salesforce with all the properties on the events you want to import as well.
The Tasks will be attached to the User, so that they are directly visible inside the User timeline.
