Refine your email lists by filtering them based on Salesforce Tasks

Create filters within your Hull Segments that include Salesforce Tasks. Build granular lists within your marketing automation platform.

Customer touches via calls, emails or meetings are often logged on the Contact or Lead level as a Task or Activity. Use Salesforce Tasks and Activity information to create granular segments that sync to your marketing automation platform as either email lists or suppression lists.

1. Fetch Tasks

Within the Hull Salesforce Connector, fetch Tasks from Salesforce as events

2. Create segments based on events

In your User Segment, add the events corresponding to the tasks you fetched and create your own condition. For example, exclude users who had a task less than 7 days ago

3. Send these segments to your marketing automation tool

If not already done, add this segment to the outgoing marketing automation tool.
